The BETA-40 intermittent motion, carton filler is designed for packaging free flowing granular products like rice, salt, sugar, powder detergent, bird seed and others.
OPERATION AND FEATURES:
- Flat, pregluded cartons are hand loaded vertically into a carton feed magazine.
- From the magazine arms with suction cups remove, open and place each carton into the carton pocket infeed chain.
- To the bottom folds cold or hot melt glue is applied and the folds are closed.
- The products is fed into each carton manually or with a volumetric or net weight filling system.
- The top flaps are glued and folded .
- To complete sealing, the filled cartons move from the carton pocket into the belts of a compression section.
- The BETA-40 is a mechanically operated machine using only a few cams.
- All part in contact with the product are made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
- No carton / no fill device.
- Fast easy size changeovers.
- PVC guarding with safety interlocks.
